What we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, company, budget range, the services you're interested in, and your message.
- Booking form: your name, email address, company, phone number, notes, the service and time slot you picked, and your time zone.
- Newsletter: your email address.
We use this only to reply to you, schedule and run calls, prepare proposals, deliver work you hire us for, and (for the newsletter) send you occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use PostHog and, where enabled, Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, referrer, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address). Before you accept analytics cookies, PostHog runs without storing anything on your device and Google Analytics runs in consent mode, sending only cookieless signals. If you accept, they may set cookies or local storage to recognise return visits and PostHog may record anonymised session replays with all form inputs masked.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes technical signals about your browser and connection for this purpose.
- Error monitoring. If something breaks, Sentry may receive technical details about the error (browser, page, stack trace). We configure it not to send personal data.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and reliability.
Why we process it (legal bases)
- To respond to your enquiry and take steps you ask for before a contract (contact and booking forms).
- Our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the website (spam protection, error monitoring, logs).
- Your consent (analytics cookies and the newsletter). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Supabase (database and file storage)
- Resend (sending email)
- Cloudflare (bot protection)
- PostHog and Google (analytics)
- Sentry (error monitoring)
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage our relationship, and then delete or anonymise them. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages our spam filter flags are kept briefly for review and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK and California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at info@trellee.com. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer. Essential functions (like spam protection) work without analytics cookies.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
